Hello Moto

In our lab at work we have a white board that we use to display important things such as:
  • Biomass results
  • Mathematical equations
  • Items people have borrowed from our lab
  • Plot maps
  • Notification of lab activities
  • Pizza requests for Pizza Pfriday
There is a recent addition to the board that brings joy to me every day. Although I have not spoken of this before on my blog, it's no secret that I want a motorcycle. I want one SO bad. I've had a couple discussions with my parents about getting one, and their reaction is the phone-equivalent of a pat on the head and a "no" with a smile.

I hate that.

My co-workers are also aware of my desire to be an awesome moto-owner and last week this picture showed up on the board:

I've been wondering lately...

Why is it that everyone I have previously admired (crushed on) or have dated seems entirely repulsive now..?

It must be some sort of defense mechanism.

...Hmmm. Interesting.

Home

I went home for the weekend, which was fantastic! Besides the fact that I was sick on my deathbed the entire time. Returning to my apartment leased from the Slum Lords of Provo (aka Monticello Investors), it became painfully apparent that I want my own home. Really, really bad.

That is all.

The week in review

I realize it is only Tuesday, so this should actually be called "The past two days in review", but oh well.
  1. 94% on statistics exam. (average = 80%)
  2. 93% on soil and water quality exam. (average = 71%)
  3. 100% on GIS exam. (average = 70%)
  4. Officially accepted to graduate school.
So I would say things are going pretty well.

Idaho

I've realized that people from Idaho are somewhat like people from Texas. Not that we are overly proud, self-centered, and obnoxious; we just like the state from which we hail. Idaho is pretty amazing, and in general, the people from Idaho are pretty amazing. Case and point:
